The last week of September I spent at Aveiro, Portugal, attending the conference on air pollution modeling. I had time for photography every morning and in the most of evenings. Moliceiros, gondola-like, colorfully painted boats dominated my photo sessions. I was walking or biking along canals neglecting architecture in the town. These boats were once mainly used to collect seaweed, but now transport tourists down the canal.
