Field and Sky between Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado

field and sky, Colorado

When driving from Loveland to Fort Collins along Rocky Mountains Front Range I stopped the car for 10 or 15 minutes. I shot a few pictures of this stormy sky just before the sun hid behind the mountains.

Camera: Canon EOS 40D with Canon ED 60mm micro lens.

Girl with a Pink Rose

Camera: Canon EOS 10D. A model session with a natural light in my backyard just next to late August roses. I applied some Photoshop effect to these nine abstract portraits (a dry brush filter).

Perhaps, I should go again through these pictures with a more natural look processing?

My wife, Connie, took me for that event on April 1 in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom on the CSU campus . I have never photographed a fashion show before. Well, I have never been to one before. So, I really didn't know what to expect. Of course, we arrived pretty late and I didn't have a chance to look around.

I just put my Canon EOS 40D camera (set with ISO 600) with EF 70-200 f2.8L lens on a monopod and managed to take position at the end of a catwalk. I had a view partially obstructed by some decoration tree and quite challenging light on the stage but I enjoyed the experience. I could even select a few usable pictures from 6 Gb I shot. Anyway, I am looking forward to the next fashion show.
