Polaroid Transfer Art

My name is Wong Hoi Fai Chris, a Hong Kong native, who is Asia photography director for Smurfit Stone Truepenny International, a U.S. based packaging firm with office in Chicago, Hong Kong and Taipei, Taiwan.

I graduated from the Hong Kong Sha Tin Technical Institute with emphasis in photography and served as a photo assistant to gain the experience needed to become a staff photographer at Media Win Design. In 1995 I accepted a staff photographer position at Truepenny International in Hong Kong and at the behest of the company relocated to Taipei where I currently serve as senior photographer and Asia photographic director.

When I am applying my talents to commercial work, I enjoy the fine art side of photography as well. My expertise has gained me showings in group exhibitions in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. My first solo show, the Angel Photo Image Exhibition in the Taipei Photo Gallery in 1998 was under written by Polaroid and showcased my talents as a fine art photographer.
