It's About Light! by Tina Martin

I usually work from 35 mm slides which I then expose in a Vivitar slide printer. I use all sorts of slide film, including Polapan and Polachrome. I have Polaroid pack cameras that use the 669 film, but have not used them much for direct imaging for transfers. For the image transfers I usually use Arches 140 lb hotpress watercolour paper, and for the emulsion transfers, Strathmore heavyweight coldpress which has a rougher surface. I sometimes add colour to the image transfers, but rarely the emulsion transfers. I work mostly with landscape and architectural subjects. I don't usually title my work and I'm not much given to "artistic statements", however I seek to find my images somewhere near the intersection of Light and Magic in that 4th dimension where anything is possible.
